Main Responsibilities

As Technology Expert you will implement and manage advanced automation on:

• Application lifecycle management for Angular/JavaScript, Java/Python, Oracle/PostgreSQL applications deployed on WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle and PostgreSQL servers;
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery;
• Source code static analysis and reporting.

Successful Candidate

Required expertise

Mandatory, specific, recent and documented expertise on automation using Nexus, Bamboo, GIT tools applied on applications deployed on WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle and PostgreSQL servers, as well as in source code quality using Sonar, of at least 3 years. You should be motivated and will involve yourself in the projects in order to understand the needs and existing processes, and being able to work independently as well as in tight cooperation with the other experts and any other stakeholders. You must be able to learn and to understand quickly new technologies and complex processes, to understand quickly the needs and to discuss constructively the requirements directly with all concerned stakeholders. A proactive attitude is very important and challenges being for you a source of motivation.

Required skills/knowledge

• Thorough knowledge and experience on Nexus, Bamboo, Git, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Solr. Jango, RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge and experience of Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools for code review (Fisheye/Crucible), and collaborative documentation (Gliffy/Balsamiq).
• Experience in CITnet service or in other technical Application Lifecycle Management teams of the Commission will be considered an important asset.
• Ability to conduct analysis, collections of needs and requirements as well as to implement advanced automated solution continuous integration using Atlassian tools.
• Ability to define and execute plans, risks and issues assessment.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings in English and French, ease of communication, excellent in English and French (both verbal and written).
• Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and integration in an international/multi-cultural environment.

Selenium, XML, Angular, Java, SQL, Ubuntu, RedHat, JASSPR.
