System Administrator - Microsoft Security Operations (EU Institutions)

We are currently looking for a System Administrator - Microsoft Security Operations (EU Institutions) to join our team in Varese Area (Italy).

Role Responsibility

Service and Project oriented: In addition to the tasks described for the profile in Service
Requirements document for the framework contract, the selected person will need to be able to
support both daily operations for relevant services and contribute to the execution of new projects.
Main activities for profile entail then both Service and Projects on all areas related to the required
Knowledge and skills section below.

Successful Candidate

Knowledge requirements:
Expert level

  • Security on Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Windows Server 201x, Active Directory)
  • Vulnerability detection and management solutions (Tenable SC and others)
  • Security monitoring and attack detections (i.e. Tenable AD)
  • Incident response processes and techniques.
  • Network Security techniques and technologies.
  • Network logging systems (Syslog and SIEM log correlation applications, Splunk)
  • Network protocol services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP...)

Administrator/Operator level

  • System administration of Linux servers (RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and others).
  • Operating and monitoring of infrastructure, systems, and servers.
  • IDS/IPS Network intrusion detection technologies.
  • Network Access Control systems (NAC).
  • Dual Factor authentication systems (token and radius servers)
  • LAN technologies, TCP/IP protocol.
  • SSL VPN Technologies (e.g. Pulse Secure systems)
  • Handling of backups and restore operations of systems & infrastructure;
  • ITIL service management framework;
  • Administration of server virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere Enterprise)
