Main Responsibilities
- Advanced Incident management. Monitor production systems, logs and alerts.
- Investigate and resolve incidents within SLA.
- Impediments and defects resolution.
- Handle escalations from L1/L2 support for high-priority or unresolved incidents.
- Supporting the integration of different information systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure layers.
- Develop and deploy hotfixes or workarounds where applicable.
- Problem Management & Root Cause Elimination.
- Lead deep-dive investigations into recurring or high-impact issues.
- Propose and implement code/configuration fixes or improvements.
- Conduct log analysis, memory dumps, and performance profiling.
- Provide technical risk assessments and rollback strategies.
- Monitor production deployments. Hotfixes, minor and major releases.
- Develop scripts, monitoring solutions, and utilities to reduce manual intervention.
- Enhance observability and self-healing mechanisms.
- Conduct system tuning, stress testing, and bottleneck analysis.
- Recommend scaling strategies and infrastructure optimization.
- Document permanent fixes, advanced troubleshooting steps, and technical notes.
- Information transfer to L2/L1. Updates, new functionalities, known issues and workarounds.
- Monitor Jira Dashboards with impediments and defect resolution.
- Ensures proper update of tickets.
- Mentor L1/L2 teams to increase first-time resolution rate.
- Contribute to best practices, standards, and operational guidelines.
- Experience with production support in cloud native applications.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Very good knowledge of L3 production support.
- Proficiency with Relational DBMS. Oracle. PostgresSQL.
- Very good knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture).
- Experience in providing 24x7 support for critical servers, Availability, Performance, Monitoring, Incident response, Preparation, Change management and Capacity management.
- In depth knowledge of JEE 8 or 7 (at least EJB3, JMS, JPA).
- In depth knowledge of Angular +2 (preferably 18).
- In depth knowledge of automatic testing frameworks (jUnit, TestNG, Protractor).
- Experience with SOA webservers.
- Very good experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience with Oracle database.
- Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Weblogic Server.
- Experience with integration tools like Jenkins, Sonar.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
- at least 5 years of specific expertise in Jira
- at least 6 years of specific expertise in Java
- at least 5 years of specific expertise in Agile
- at least 7 years of specific expertise in Rest, SOAP, Jenkins, Maven
- at least 5 years of specific expertise in Git
- at least 5 years of specific expertise in Linux
- at least 5 years of proven experience with the tasks mentioned above.
