We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic IV&V Engineer to join our Italian Office in Rome. Join a ground-breaking European project at the forefront of satellite technology and climate research.

As IV&V Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Plan and schedule the integration, testing and validation phases.
- Define the procedures to integrate and install the different subsystems at costumer site.
- Define the requirements to be verified with the selected methods in the applicable stages at the defined levels.
- Prepare AIV documents such as plans, test specifications and technical notes.
- Contribute to security test specification.
- Define the objectives and justify the scope of the tests.
- Indicate the test facilities to be used.
- Define resources and organisation to co-ordinate and manage all technical activities necessary to assembly, verify, operate, and maintain the system in conformance with the customer’s requirements.
- Demonstrate that design and performances meet the specified requirements at the specified levels of confidence.
- Identify critical development problem and assist in their resolution.
- Define verification planning.
- Define levels and pass criteria for the above tests.
- Evaluate and assess test results.
- Interfacing with all subsystems and relevant teams during AIV phases.
- Support to operational and pre-operational phases.
- Authoring of Technical documentation.
- Software support.

Knowledge of System Engineering and system-level knowledge of all Ground Segment subsystems.
Proficient in working in a Linux environment and hardware virtualized environment
Good Knowledge of Linux shell scripting.
Good Knowledge of Database Management Systems.
Good knowledge of VmWare.
University degree, preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management & Technical Documentation Management.
At lest 5 years experience in validation and qualification activities.
At lest 5 years experience in system and application support.

Rome's central location in Italy offers excellent transportation links within the city and across the country. The city is well-connected by a network of highways and railways, with Ciampino Airport or Fiumicino, providing convenient access to international destinations.
