Main Responsibilities

As Change Manager you will be responsible for:

Depending on the needs of the team, the Change Manager shall be assigned and shall complete some or all of the following tasks in two main streams of activities.

1. EAD Change and Evolution Management (limited evolution):

  • Creation of Change Proposals through sub-system working group meetings and evolution workshops, based on feedback received from both EAD data operation service provider, EAD Data provider/user community and in support to the Integrated Network Management (iNM) programme
  • Review and acceptance of Change Proposals and related specifications to get complete, readable, quality definition of the changes to be part of the release content for development approval Review of sub-system documentation (User/technical requirements, Test cases/procedures, User Manual, etc.) to verify that the
  • Change Proposals included in the release are correctly documented and ensuring that the further development will meet the expectations of the EAD users Participation in assessment/verification of the change Proposals included in the release, based on approved Test cases/procedures, and conduct of additional free testing sessions
  • On request of EAD users or in the context of operational support or client migration activities participation in dedicated user meetings or workshops, and monitoring/analysis of technical incidents and requirements stemming from Service Desk ticket.

2. ​Transition / Migration Activities - EAD and eEAD contexts: Develop and maintain a transition/migration master plan

  • Monitor the execution of the individual transition/migration project plans in the context of transitions / migrations to eEAD
  • Identify the risks associated with the transition / migration and monitor the execution of the corresponding transitions / migrations
  • Maintain the overview of the transitions / migrations to SDD in the current EAD, using the tools developed for the purpose, e.g., Excel spreadsheets, Jira tickets, Confluence spaces, Trello boards Support data validations against EAD and eEAD requirements.
  • Support (prospective) Clients in preparing for the transition / migration
  • Moreover, the operations assistant might be requested to perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.

Successful Candidate

Educational Requirements

  • University studies of at least 3 years in a relevant domain (e.g. Air Traffic Management, Computer Science, Engineering or any other related field). A master's degree in a relevant domain would be an asset.

Languages

  • Excellent command of the English language and ability to write documents in a clear and structured way, in English. This can be demonstrated by working experience. Command of any additional European languages) is an advantage.

Technical/Professional Qualification:

Desirable:

  • Hands-on experience in computer programs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), XML Editors, JIRA, Confluence

Experience/Skills Required:

Mandatory:

  • A minimum of 3 (three) years of relevant work experience (e.g. in the area of AIS/AIM)

  • Knowledge of AICMAIXM models including the applicable specifications (Temporality Concept, Feature Identification and Reference, Application Schemas, etc.)

  • Technical writing skills in English. E.g. production of meeting minutes, drafting of technical notes, etc.

Desirable:

  • One (1) year of experience in an AIXM-based AIM system
  • Knowledge of Air Navigation Services, in particular AIS/AIM business and associated EU regulatory framework and International Standards (e.g. ICAO SARPs and PANS)
  • Knowledge of the EAD and its components
  • Project management skills

Other Requirements (Personal Characteristics):

Mandatory:

  • Analytical thinking - ability to analyse information and identify relationships

Desirable:

  • Ability to work in multinational and multicultural environment
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain good professional relationships both internal and external
  • Ability to work under pressure and set clear priorities
