We are hiring a Web Operation Manager (WOM) for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

As Web Operation Manager (WOM) you will be responsible for:

  • Providing on-site user guidance and IT support regarding the use of information systems / ICT tools. Solving issues with IT equipment.
  • Creation and management of wiki, SharePoint collaborative sites and content management systems in general
  • Guidance and support users in the usage of wikis, SharePoint collaborative sites and CMS

  • Creation and management of M365 services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive Business, PowerApps PowerBI, etc.)

  • Treat and dispatch SMT requests coming for EASME (IS-LLS-IRM)

  • Create MITS requests on behalf of VIP users and newcomers; Follow-up on delayed requests

  • Onsite support to users of meeting rooms and video conferencing and collaboration tools (including Teams, Skype for business, WebEx, and others)

  • Technical analysis of the business requirements in view of providing an adequate solution within the platforms available

  • Ensure coherence of the logical and physical structure of the collaboration spaces (Confluence, SharePoint, CMS, M365/Teams, or within other custom Information systems)

  • Frequent review of existing platform usage, correcting misalignments, while coordination with the space users.

  • Writing administration and usage procedure manuals

  • Participate and follow in corporate meetings and advances on the strategy and usage of these tools within the corporate environment.

  • Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users

Successful Candidate

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Good knowledge of SharePoint sites and its content administration.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams and its content administration.
  • Proven conceptual understanding of content structuring, storage, access and presentation elements
  • Experience in providing on-site user IT support (IT Helpdesk).
  • Experience with end-user guidance.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis.
  • Awareness of software development and service methodologies (e.g., Agile, ITIL)
  • Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
  • Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
  • Experience in maintenance and solving problems with conference and audio-visual facilities/equipment.
  • Experience in configuring and solving problems with audio and/or video facilities/equipment (e.g., cameras, screens, projectors, microphones).
  • Giving training and ensuring knowledge-sharing on conference and audio-visual facilities/equipment.

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

  • Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Ability to understand, speak and write English (B.2). French B1 will be advantageous
  • High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in EISMEA contain personal and confidential data

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

  • at least 3 years of specific expertise in “M365” services (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive Business,PowerApps, PowerBI, etc.) (min. competence level ,4,1
  • at least 3 years of specific expertise in providing on-site IT user support (IT Helpdesk). (min.competence level 4

  • at least 3 years of specific expertise in setting up, installing, configuring, and solving problems withaudio-visual and IT equipment (min. competence level 4
