Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • You coordinate the day-to-day operations of the transition house program
  • You supervise and support staff members in their roles
  • You assist in the development and implementation of program initiatives
  • You provide direct support and advocacy to residents
  • You maintain accurate program records and documentation
  • You collaborate with external agencies and partners to enhance services
  • You assist with program budgeting and financial management
  • You participate in program evaluation and quality improvement efforts
  • You represent the program in various community settings

Successful Candidate

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminology or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in social work, crisis intervention, or non-profit management.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with program management and administrative tasks
  • French and English, Dutch is a plus
