Role Responsibility

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

Tools/ Methodologies used in the unit
 PM² project methodology – Corporate comprehensive methodology.
 Agile methodology
 Jira, Confluence
 Office 365
 Microsoft Sharepoint
 PowerApps
 Scripting language (JAVA, PHP, Phyton)
 Oracle Dbms (SQL/PLSQL)

The main tasks to be performed are the following:
 Support the design on the OIB Self-Service Analytics Platform and tooling selection
 Support the business in the requirement phase
 Translate the requirement into a sustainable and solid technical solution.
 Support the data driven culture in the organization and promote information governance
practice and methodology
 Develop reports and dashboard
 Deliver the ETL specification
 Testing
 Train end users and support them in the tool adoption phase.

Successful Candidate

Specific expertise

The following expertise is required:
 Proven knowledge and practice of Self-Service Analytics tools Microsoft BI (Power BI,
SSAS, SSIS), Qlik Sense - minimum 6 months in the last 3 years in one or both technology
 Proven experience with/knowledge of Data Warehouse design and principles (data modelling) and data integration (ETL).
 Proven experience with/knowledge of one or more of following technologies: Microsoft BI Platform (Power BI, SSAS, SSIS) Qlik Sense, Denodo, Oracle, SQL
 Experience on Data Management and Data Governance principles and methodology (data
catalog, data glossary, data lineage, metadata, data anonymization, data classification, …)
 Ability to gather users’ requirements, present/demo releases to end users and train them
 Ability to implement / learn Agile methodology best practices
 Ability to apply high quality standards
 Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings
 Capability of working in an international / multicultural environment
 Good writing skills

Languages
The consultant must have a very good command in English and French (at least level 4/5 on one of these languages, 3/5 on the other). Documents will be written in English and French.
