Job Introduction

We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer for an EU Agency in Parma, Italy and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and services hosted on Azure.
- Develop monitoring and alerting strategies using tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Prometheus.
- Automate operational tasks and incident responses to improve system efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system scalability and resilience.
- Implement best practices for disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Actively participate in Fusion Teams to promote collaboration and the adoption of
- DevOps practices.
- Utilize advanced technologies such as AI-driven analytics for proactive system monitoring.
- Support remote and hybrid work environments by ensuring systems are accessible and reliable from any location.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
A level of education corresponding to completed university studies of at least three (3) years, attested by a diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- At least five (5) years of experience, after having completed university studies, in systems engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools within Azure and open-source platforms.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Very good written and oral command of English (minimum B2 level as per the CEFRL).
- Ability to work collaboratively within Fusion Teams.
- Capability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
