Job Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior System Engineer to join our team in Strasbourg Office. 

Main Responsibilities

  • IT support, design and troubleshooting ranging from large Server, SAN farms to complex platforms; 
  • Configuration/Troubleshooting of Virtual environments: VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon; 
  • Server management, Operating System (OS) knowledge (UNIX, Linux, Windows); 
  • Design, implementation and administration of backup and restore on solutions like VEEAM and StoreOnce; 
  • Administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure; 
  • Administration of Storage systems on traditional SAN, CEPH and VSAN; 
  • Managing OCP platform in DEVOPS mode with related supporting systems like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka; 
  • Development, execution and troubleshooting of Ansible and Powershell scripts; 
  • PKI and certificate administration; 
  • Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios, Splunk; 
  • Administration of Oracle infrastructure, namely EXADATA and ZDRLA; 
  • Administration of mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti-virus and anti-spam; 
  • Centralized deployment of software and updates 

Successful Candidate

Education; 

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school 

Minimum experience; 

  • Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience 

Additional needed knowledge and skills;

  • Knowledge and experience with HW management, racking, cabling, replacement, FW upgrades; 
  • HW/SW inventory and configuration management; 
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon); 
  • Knowledge and experience with managing Oracle HW; 
  • Knowledge and advanced experience in Redhat, Windows OS administration of large farms; 
  • Active Directory (AD) / LDAP and Keycloak Management; 
  • Network Attached Storage (NAS) and distributed file systems; 
  • Centralized IT security policy management;
