To reinforce our team at one of our prestigious customer in Brussels we are currently looking for a Senior Backup and Storga Administrator.
Main Responsibilities
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configuration, implementation and management of the ongoing operation of several servers in the storage area network
- Monitoring and ensuring the effective functioning of all backup and/or storage area network infrastructure.
- Installation and configuration of system components and server software
- Assisting with the development and testing of a disaster recovery plan, administering different tests of server systems.
- Implementation of complex backup and storage installation, configuration and maintenance of database backup and storage infrastructure
- Analyzing storage reports and determining the effectiveness of systems operation
- Identifying where improvement should be made
Successful Candidate
Technical Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a storage environment
- Storage (plus spécifiquement EMC)
- Backup
- Expérience with Windows server (physique et virtuels)
- Knowledge of Aix – Redhat – Linux (physique et virtuels)
- Good knowledge of Database Oracle , SQL, Exchange
- Knowledge of VMware technologies would be a bonus
- Jboss
- Power system
Languages
English and French: good working knowledge of speaking, understanding & reading.
