We are hiring a Scrum Master (Angular, Java, and Oracle pl/SQL) for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

Your tasks: 

• Scrum mastering in order to assure high quality deliveries according to the work plan and in tight collaboration with the project manager
• Queries and code optimisation (TypeScript, Java, SQL, JavaScript, Shell Script, etc.)
• Code quality review
• Unit, integration and system testing
• Design, development and test of complex parts of the information systems
• Requirements gathering using use cases, and user stories

Successful Candidate

Required expertise Knowledge and skills

Mandatory, specific, recent, and documented expertise as Scrum Master, and on Angular, Java, and Oracle pl/SQL of at least 3 years.

You should be motivated and will involve yourself in the projects in order to understand the needs and existing processes, and being able to work independently as well as in tight cooperation with the other experts and any other stakeholders. You must be able to learn and to understand quickly new technologies and complex processes, to understand quickly the needs and to discuss constructively the requirements directly with all concerned stakeholders. A proactive attitude is very important and challenges being for him a source of motivation.

Required skills/knowledge

• Thorough knowledge and practice of scrum mastering, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge and practice of Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools.
• Knowledge and practice in Angular (version 2 and above), Java, Oracle pl/SQL, REST micro services architecture development.
• Ability to define and execute plans, risks and issues assessment.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings in English and French, ease of communication, excellent in English and French (both verbal and written).
• Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and integration in an international/multi-cultural environment.

Optional skills/knowledge

Sonar, Selenium, XML, Angular, Java, SQL, Ubuntu, RedHat, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Linux shell scripting, JASSPR.
