Quality Assurance Manager (16039, L3)

Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for:

  • Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures
  • Definition, elaboration, management and participation of quality tests
  • Support the Project Managers of information systems to meet identified business needs and deliver high quality products.
  • Provision of quality studies, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information system projects
  • Support the Analysis team by validating business requirements documents and production of use and test case models based on user requirements
  • Participation in risk analysis
  • Leading workshops and participate in workshops and meetings

Successful Candidate

You should have:

  • Knowledge of IS quality assurance, procedures and methods
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
  • Good experience with quality procedures
  • Knowledge of information systems lifecycle and development methodologies (e.g. RUP- RUP Agile or Agile Scrum).
  • Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies
  • Experience in creating test reports
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Able to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communicator, ability to give presentations
  • Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team;
  • Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (business analysts, developers, management etc.).
  • Able to use the office automation tools used in the Commission (MS-Office)
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Sharepoint
  • Knowledge of information systems developed by DG EAC would be an asset
  • Working experience with Jira
  • In depth knowledge of test process, testing methodologies and tools. ISTQB Test management certification
  • Fluent in EN (speaking and writing)
  • Fluent in FR (speaking and writing)
