Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities

  • Request and consolidate the scope of the release and all the individual dependencies
  • Request the release package and all the required quality checks
  • Maintain a calendar with all the activities related to the Release and resolve any conflicts
  • Communicate the rollout of the a new release to both business and non-business stakeholders
  • Support the rollout activities of the new releases
  • Work with the team from the planning phase to the deployment phase through the development and testing phases

 

Successful Candidate

  • Relevant studies in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Team management skills
  • Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools
  • Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in IT projects as Release Manager, Project Manager or project coordinator
