MobileIron Support Engineer

To reinforce our team at one of our prestigious customers in Brussels, Belgium we are currently looking for a MobileIron Support Engineer

Role Responsibility

  • Support of PCs, notebook, hybrid mobile devices, smartphones, tablets, servers and network operating systems
  • Support of PC, notebook, smartphone, media tablet, server and peripheral (printers, copiers, scanners, etc.) hardware (assembling, testing, part replacement, maintenance).Installation, update and administration of PCs, smartphones, tablets, servers and network operating systems.
  • Support of anti-virus (and anti-malware) services (product support, interventions, and prevention activities)
  • Mobile device management and  mobile apps management
  • Strong knowledge of Android platform (this is the key element)
  • Knowledge of iOS and Windows mobile
  • Installation and configuration Mobileiron software
  • Consultancy for complex mobile enterprise integrations
  • Consultancy in file sharing solution with focus on iOS
  • Kerberos/ SSO integration for email and document delivery
  • Mobile device configuration (Android, iOS, Windows)
  • Design and integration EMM - Enterprise Mobility Management
  • 1,2, and 3rd line support for EMM
  • Participation in technical support activities relating to the integration of hardware, operating system and application software for Windows workstations, Windows servers, Red Hat servers and mobile devices under iOS, Android or Windows Phone resulting in “Reference Configurations”
  • Participation in product evaluations for open source software, including market survey, technical evaluation, testing and preparation of technical reports.
  • Production of technical documentation (compilation of user guides, documentation of procedures, evaluation reports, etc).

Successful Candidate

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of higher studies or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years of specific experience (which means in mobile tech)
  • Languages: English – very good/ additionally French or any other EU language would be beneficial

Knowledge and skills:

  • Proven experience in the abovementioned tasks is essential
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2008 R2
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 8.x
  • Knowledge of Windows Phone
  • Knowledge of iOS
  • Knowledge of Android
  • Knowledge of MDM software (e.g. MobileIron)
  • Knowledge of productivity apps on mobile devices
  • Knowledge of security concepts and methodologies, and on how these concepts are implemented in operating systems and system management solutions
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, POSIX/SUS V3 and open source software
  • Knowledge of MS Office 2010 Professional suite (or above)
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting/batch language for the Windows environment, in particular Powershell
  • Knowledge of Windows installation and deployment tools, based on scripting and cloning techniques
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN)
  • Knowledge of PC hardware
  • Knowledge of the Active Directory
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Good interpersonal relations skills
  • Ability to pro-actively follow the technology progress and make sound recommendations based on that.
