Role Responsibility

As MRO&U Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with multiple disciplines to plan, develop and execute tasks associated with specific MRO&U equipment maintenance. This position reports to the Customer selected Technical Officer of the Service.

The successful candidate will work within the MRO&U Operations organisation to accurately synergize critical planning and milestone information with multiple authors, schedulers and leaders to achieve programme objectives. 

Task include, but not limited to:

  • overall project management
  • development of briefings (contractor and/or service)
  • conducting project reviews
  • assisting in requirements development 
  • compiling
  • authoring and distributing several recurring MRO&U Operations reports and performance deliverables
  • interactions with various stakeholders (subcontractors, customer)

Will be responsible for providing technical support to field maintainer teams during verification/proofing tasks

He/she will lead a team of maintainers and quality engineers.

Successful Candidate

Your skills:

  • 5 years degree in Project/Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Systems Engineering or comparable technical degree
  • Experience in managing multiple projects using planning techniques 
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with MS Office (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)

Knowledge and experience:

  • Project/program management work experience
  • ISO approach
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft aviation maintenance and/or logistics experience on military or commercial aircraft
  • Experience with IT systems and tools (ALIS)

Other skills:

  • Ability to work in international context
  • Team working 
  • Leadership
