Role Responsibility

As MRO&U Production Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project based activities, including:
  • new product introduction and maintenance cell design to reduce waste
  • improve quality and safety 
  • reduce operating costs
• Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximise success
• Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project/maintenance completion
• Work under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and/or completion by the Project Manager

Successful Candidate

Your skills:

• Project/program management work experience
• ISO approach
• Basic knowledge of aircraft aviation maintenance and/or logistics experience on military or commercial aircraft
• Experience with IT systems and tools (ALIS)

Knowledge and experience:

• Management of complex projects (at least 3 years)
• Knowledge of elements of:
  • Hydraulics
  • Electric
• Reading electrical and hydraulic diagrams
• Reading mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of project regulation

Other skills:

• Communication
• Leadership
• Pragmatism
• English language (both spoken and written) ≥ B2
• Take full responsibility for the successful conclusion of the activities
• Have a dynamic outlook and be success oriented
• A know-how in space/IT domain would be a plus.
