Main Responsibilities
As Logistic Coordinator - International Space Station (ISS) you will concentrate your activities on the following:
- Verification of the ESA mass allocation charged for each flight
- Co-ordination with NASA of the packing mass to be allocated to ESA
- Check and submittal of all ESA commodities for ESA System and Utilization in Upload, Download and Disposal
- Revision of the Increment Manifest Status reports
- Support to ESA Safety Review Panel (SRP) for Flight manifest status
- Increment Co-ordination Meeting (ICMs)
- Certificate of Flight Readiness (CoFR) Technical Interchange Meeting (TIMs)
- Operational Readiness Reviews (ORRs)
- Participate to ESA/NASA Increment meeting as per Increment Manager request
- Support the coordination and input for all increments
- Support in the coordination at any launch site of the support and (re)supply of all ISS cargo and spares flown as part of the ESA’s allocation
- Support to industrial contractor for ESA hardware importation in Europe
- Revision of the Increment Logistics Plans
- Support in the coordination and planning of ESA Cargo reviews for nominal load, late load and cargo review via pictures
- Revision of system and payload label plans
- Cargo review execution and post cargo review actions
- Cargo review preparation and support for complex items
- Support in the Coordination and Revision of the Increment Stowage Plans
- Support the Coordination with NASA Stowage for NASA Temporary Stowage in Columbus
- Summary of the Stowage Trend status at Increment level or Multi Increment level for: Increment Co-ordination Meeting (ICMs)
- Certificate of Flight Readiness (CoFR) Technical Interchange Meeting (TIMs)
- Operational Readiness Reviews (ORRs)
- Participate to - ESA/NASA Increment meeting as per Increment Manager request
- Increment management support.
- ESA Point of Contact and Correspondent for all Logistics Codes applicable to System items and Utilization items
- Verification of Logistics codes for all ESA Increment Requirement Document (IRD) requirements and relevant Open Work (OWs) check
- Support to Increment Managers and Increment engineers to the Increment meetings
- Support to the Public Affairs Office (PAO) /Public Relations (PR) items definition list for upload with ESA communication
- Physical inspection of the PAO items to be launched and delivery to Altec for packing
- Preparation of the Flight safety data package and submittal to ESA Safety panel
- Facility sustaining engineering (e.g. Biolab, FSL, EDR, EDR2, EPM) ensuring that the facilities are maintained and operational. Includes support to operations during on orbit activities and troubleshooting in case of failures
- P/L integration into Columbus and facility racks supporting the P/L developer in defining and verifying the interfaces to Columbus elements
- Columbus System and Subsystem engineering, Thermal and Life support Engineering.
Successful Candidate
