We are hiring an Enterprise Architect (EA) - 5756 for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

As Enterprise Architect (EA) - 5756 you will be responsible for:

• Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals.
• Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities.
• Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations.
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.
• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.
• Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
• Coordination of the implementation of the business requirements.
• Definition and analysis of the business requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan.
• Assistance to the definition of internal methodologies and application lifecycle.
• Participation in functional working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users

Successful Candidate

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

• Master Degree of 5 years

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as BPMN…
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as Enterprise Architect,…
• Experienced in business analysis.
• Experienced in software development.
• Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
• Usage of project management tools.
• Good knowledge of business process analysis.
• Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design.

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;
• Excellent Team Player
• Ability to understand, speak and write English C1,
• High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in RTD.H.DEP.IT contain personal and confidential data

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

• At least 5 years of experience with JAVA 
• At least 5 years of experience with BPMN
