On behalf of our customer the European Space Agency, we are seeking a proactive Business Information Analyst to join our team and work at the prestigious ESA-ESTEC site in the Netherlands. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work with one of the world's leading space agencies.

Role Responsibility

As Business Information Analyst  you will concentrate your activities on the following:

• Support the production of internal and external reports.
• Support data mining and analysis for corporate controlling activities at ESA level.
• Support the definition and development of data models to be implemented in corporate controlling tools.
• Improve the multi-year planning and controlling processes, methods and tools.
• Supporting the definition and development of IT systems and databases in support of multiyear planning and controlling.

Successful Candidate

Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
• +4 years of relevant experience in the controlling domain.
• Good knowledge of financial management systems.
• Strong mathematic and statistical modelling skills.
• Understanding of mathematic-business models for financial planning and forecasting.
• Good knowledge of programming (Relational Databases, SQL, Oracle, Matlab, Visual Basic).
• Basic knowledge of SAP and Business Object.
• Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting and Economics.
• Understanding of Information Systems management issues.
• Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
• Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
