We are hiring a Back-End Developer (BED) for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Role Responsibility

As Back-End Developer (BED) you will be responsible for:

• Implement new features in Python web application backend.
• Design and implement Python APIs for automatic training, deployment and exploitation of machine learning models.
• Operate and work on remote Linux environments.
• Operate SQL and no-SQL databases.
• Work in a collaborative framework using Git.
• Implement and monitor security of Python applications.

Successful Candidate

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

• As specified in the framework contract for this profile.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

• Proficiency with Python back-end language and framework, particularly with libraries like Flask, Dash and FastAPI.
• Experience working with databases.
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.
• Experience in data science projects.
• Knowledge on networking and security.
• Ability to work in Linux environments over remote connections.

LANGUAGES

• The consultant has to be fluent in English. Documents will be written in English
