We currently have multiple positions available at the Belgium Naval site in Zeebrugge.

Serco Maritime Service, formally Clemaco – with 150 employees has been a partner of the Belgian Navy since 1964. Activities mainly take place at the naval base in Zeebrugge, where the teams take care of the maintenance of the ships of the Belgian army fleet, including minehunters. The company also works for the Dutch Navy and the Belgian police and customs. 90% of our annual turnover is generated by our assignment for the navy.

You will work within the ' Naval Maintenance ' department of Serco Maritime Service, we provide a total maintenance service for various types of naval vessels for the Belgian and Dutch Navy (Frigates, Mine Hunters and Patrol vessels).

You will have the opportunity to take care of a variety of maintenance and repair activities.

Role Responsibility

• In this position you are part of the hierarchical line of our extensive technical team that carries out maintenance and repair assignments on the Belgian and Dutch Naval fleets.
• You are co-responsible for the daily operation and results of the Auxiliary Equipment & Refrigeration department within Clemaco Contracting nv at the naval base in Zeebrugge.
• You give the necessary instructions to subordinate Teamleaders and also monitor the implementation and quality of execution and the quality of the assignments

Successful Candidate

• Technical education at Bachelor's level or equivalent through at least 10 years' experience within the company or relevant experience in another company. company or relevant experience in another company.
• Broad knowledge of mechanics and sufficient relevant experience by date of 28-03-2022, Linked to a positive attitude and sense of responsibility.
• Possession of the theoretical and practical knowledge of facts and data, methods and techniques necessary to perform this job.
• A positive attitude and a sense of responsibility.
• The ability to use the usual data and word processing software.
• Basic knowledge of business administration.
• The ability to express oneself in a proper way and to make reports.
• Communication skills necessary for providing information and ensuring cooperation between the various employees and hierarchical members of staff. members of the hierarchy.
• Have a positive attitude towards customers, quality and safety.
