UX/UI SPECIALIST (2333, L1)

For one of our Customer, a European Institution we are looking for an UX/UI SPECIALIST with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. 

Role Responsibility

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

The consultant will be expected to contribute to one or more of the tasks listed below, according to need:

Scientific Communication

Transforming scientific reports, results and ideas produced by the unit into graphical content to convey information to different audience.

Visual identity

Development of a specific visual identity for the JRC E.5 Unit, while respecting the existing visual identity of the Commission as a whole.

Website

Design (and possibly develop) websites that may be needed by the JRC E.5

Unit, using software and instructions provided by the Unit. The design should start from visual prototype and mock-ups to produce a responsive layout (and possibly a responsive HTML/CSS)

Maintenance

Maintain and evolve the graphical content, websites, user interfaces and digital material already present in the JRC.E.5 Unit.

Printed products

Posters, leaflets, postcards, special publications (e.g. flagship reports, policy briefs, newsletter).

Exhibition materials

Materials like roll-ups, stands etc.

Infographics

Infographics both for video and printed form, following best practices of data journalism.

Successful Candidate

Desired Knowledge

The following expertise are considered a plus:

- Knowledge of the UX principle to support the creation of smooth and simple user interfaces (responsive web, mobile app, desktop applications);

- Web development: transforming graphics layout into responsive

HTML/CSS producing websites.

Required expertise

- Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator,

Photoshop, InDesign) to produce graphic contents: seven (7) years;

- Working experience on web design: four (3) years;

- Working experience with HTML, CSS: five (3) years;

- Working experience with Tableau Software: one (1) year;
