Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for, the design and implementation of advanced data mining solutions (for structured and unstructured data), reporting and visualisation features. You will also design, implement and optimise the required integration architecture

Throughout it all you’ll draft technical documentation, summaries, statistics, reports and briefing notes and contribute to drafting strategic documents.

Successful Candidate

If you have advanced data mining technologies (structured and unstructured data): ElasticSearch, Natural Language Processing, Semantic search, Machine Learning , then we want to hear from you!

Naturally you’ll need to have hands-on experience (design and development) with open source software packages implementing advanced data mining capabilities mentioned above, experience with data visualisation tools, but also hands-on experience (design and development) with system integration using: ESB, Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, JSON.

Ability to work autonomously, and managing your workload independently, providing status updates, liaising with others and escalating issues as appropriate, is important for this job. You will need very good analytical skills, holistic and strategic thinking vis-à-vis advanced data and document mining technologies, ability to provide advice to management, but also very good communication skills e.g. giving presentations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

If you are problem solving and quality oriented, as well as pragmatic, able to write clear and structured and able to work  in an international/multicultural environment, then we really want to hear from you !

Ideally, you’ll also be qualified in data and document protection with digital signature and encryption and techniques used to secure Web applications. 

You should also have knowledge of data and document exchange formats and patterns; IT infrastructure admin knowledge, for both classic on-premises infrastructure (VM, operating systems, accesses) and Cloud Services (AWS, Azurre).

You should be able to work with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and other IT development methodologies

A very good command, spoken and written, of the English language is mandatory.
