We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Expert, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  •  Use different techniques for collecting requirements from stakeholders in a project such as  brainstorming, document analysis, focus groups, interviews, workshops and surveys. Determine  which requirements have the highest priority for implementation. 

  •  Provide a bridge role between IT and the business, communicating and translating between  different perspectives or views about business operations using different vocabulary to match those  views.  

  •  Develop and specify requirements in enough detail (by using use cases, user stories, screen mock ups or other techniques) and technical designs to allow them to be successfully implemented by a  project team.  

  •  participate to the analysis, development and testing of the OLAF Content Management system  

  •  Model and enhance business process or UML diagrams and other related models to capture  business operations change requirements within defined opportunities or projects, modeling both  current and future states. Rework business processes based on the feedback from pilot  implementation of workflows. 

  •  Contribute to the project planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project  deliverables, quality control, problem reporting, follow up and organisation  

  •  Participate in functional working groups and project progress meetings  

  •  Contribute to various estimates timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion  OCM project  

  •  Assist in the change management and quality assurance processes  

  •  Include the relevant IT, document management, security, data protection policies, regulations and  procedures when deriving the optimised business processes.  

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  •  Knowledge of PM methodologies (PM2, PMI, SCRUM…) and IT Service management (ITIL)   Knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites (like Confluence)  

  •  Excellent communication / writing skills.  

  •  Ability to give presentations and lead business analysis working groups  

  •  Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills.  

  •  Previous experience in the European institutions would be an advantage. 

  •  has a thorough knowledge of DOCUMENTUM / xCP (16.4, 20.2)/ Java architecture.  

  •  has proven hands-on experience in Documentum xCP Migration projects (up to v20.2).   

  • has a good understanding of business process management, workflow, records management  and case management and how to implement the Documentum xCP platform.  

  •  is able to Analyse and model business processes and business needs, creating the relevant  functional system documentation.  

  •  has a proven capacity of translating business process definition and functional specifications into  the technical capabilities of Documentum, optimising its use and guaranteeing excellent  evolutivity and maintainability.  

  • understanding of Oracle architecture and it is able to build up queries.  

  • understands OLAF core business or is able to gain quickly the business knowledge.   

  • has experience in testing and support activities related to Documentum xCP applications   

  • has good documentation skills writing functional & technical implementation documentation.
