We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Expert - JAVA DOJO, based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

• Design and development of web-based applications 

• Design, implementation and maintenance of software components for web-based applications 

• Migration and updates of web applications 

• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks 

• Analysis and development of the integration of different information systems 

• Review of the architecture of existing systems 

• Architecture and design of information systems 

• Data analysis and data modelling Participate in requirements analysis, prototyping, definition and integration of technological components 

• Production of software architecture documents 

• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users 

• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

•  Good knowledge of web applications design using Java technologies;

• Good knowledge of modelling tools; 

•  Good knowledge of Relational DBMS; 

•  Knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service  bus);

• Good communication skills; 

•  Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment. 

 Specific expertise:

•  Java technology and J2EE architectures: Java EE 7 or higher; 

•  Front-end framework: DOJO Toolkit 

•  IBM Content Foundation / IBM Content Navigator

•  Java tools and frameworks: Spring 4.x 

•  IntelliJ or Eclipse; 

•  Web services (WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc.); 

•  Continuous integration: Jenkins, Maven, Bamboo or similar, Fisheye, Git or SVN
