For one of our prestigious customers in Brussels we are looking for a Technical Consultant (J2EE, RDBMS, SOA) at least 10 years of relevant experience .
Main Responsibilities
This position will be involved in the design and development of business solutions using:
- J2EE technologies;
- Web-services (REST/SOAP);
- RDBMS in the framework of eDelivery's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) ;
This candidate will be responsible for:
- Participation to the complete development life-cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operation, support, documentation and change management) of different components of the eDelivery DSI;
- Adoption of a test driven approach with the delivery of unit tests, integration tests, performance tests and the setup of a continuous integration platform;
- Delivery of technical documentation and software release notes;
- Compliance with the standard way of working within unit DIGIT D3 supported by a central documentation wiki (Confluence), a project follow-up web application (Jira) and a common version control system (Git);
- Involvement in security studies, security assessments and other specific security matters related to eDelivery;
- Creation/maintenance of 2 plugins (e-TrustEx adapter plugin and Node plugin) of Domibus;
- Provide support for the deployment of the eDelivery Access Point and the replacement of the e-TrustEx adapter.
Successful Candidate
Education and qualifications:
The candidate should have at least 10 years of professional experience + + 4 years studies.
Knowledge and skills:
The expertise required is technical:
- Java 7/8, Spring 4, Hibernate 3, Junit, Maven, Git, JMS, Liquibase, Angular 2;
- Web services: CXF, WSS4J;
- Testing: Junit, SOAP UI;
- Application servers: Wildfly 9 and 10, Tomcat 8, Weblogic 12c;
- Database: Oracle 11g, MySQL 5 and 6;
- Continuous integration: Bamboo, SonarQube;
- Excellent knowledge and significant working experience in the deployment of large systems using web-services (SOAP, REST);
- Excellent knowledge of web security related to the deployment of SOA (WS-Security and SSL/TLS, PKI).
Behavioural competencies:
The ideal candidate is autonomous, a team player, rigorous, problem solving oriented and pragmatic.
Languages required:
Excellent verbal and communication skills in English + EU language.
