Solution Manager and Program Management Assistant (TEX, 3265, L3)

For one of our Customer, a European Institution we are looking for a Technology Expert with at least 9 years of relevant work experience. 

Role Responsibility

NATURE OF THE TASKS

  • Stakeholders management
  • Participation and support in management and technical working groups
  • Manage the solution design and delivery, from requirements, architecture, development and stakeholder point of view
  • Interaction with third parties
  • Capturing and documenting business requirements and meeting minutes
  • Communicating solutions to stakeholders
  • Provision of expert advice and assistance, provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations and service level agreements associated with information system services
  • Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise
  • Drafting documents and contributions, such as relating to high level scoping and strategy, approach and action plans
  • Setting up and documenting processes
  • Follow-up implementation projects
  • Quality Assurance

Successful Candidate

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Being familiar with the DEVCO tools like CRIS, PADOR, PROSPECT, etc… is a must
  • Proven stakeholder management skills. Deep knowledge of DEVCO stakeholders is a strong plus
  • Expertise in the service desk tools such as SMT/JIRA is required
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Deep knowledge in one or more domains required for the function (e.g. DEVCO tools, European Union Delegations support, etc.)
  • Great in a multilingual and multicultural environment
  • Active, motivated, pragmatic and diplomatic behaviour is highly required
  • Ability to coordinate, lead and facilitate groups and audiences varying in scope and nature
  • In depth knowledge of technology and information systems matters
  • Ability to capture and document business requirements
  • Good understanding of business processes and knowledge of business analysis tools like Confluence is key
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing documents and reports
  • Strong capacity to give presentations
  • Experience working in the EC environment is a strong plus
