On behalf of our team, we are looking for a Software Engineering Intern. In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, and deployment of a web application.

Main Responsibilities

As a Software Engineering Intern you will concentrate your activities on the following:

  • Contribute to the design of modern software architecture aligned with our mission.
  • Participate in group activities such as demonstrations, design reviews, requirement exploration, system architecting, etc.
  • Be able to suggest designs fitting needs and technical requirements.
  • Develop a broad skill set covering all aspects of the current software environment.
  • Learn and use industry best practices in software engineering, including a focus on creating high-performance, well-organized and maintainable code.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Put an extra-emphasis on creating a smooth user experience through the application of best practice regarding design and coding.

Successful Candidate

Do you think you are the person we are looking for? See below what experience or knowledge you should bring:

  • Pursuing a BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with at least one of the following languages:  JavaScript, Python, Java, PHP.
  • Experience in at least one CMS (WordPress, Joomla! , headless CMS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.
  • A good understanding of GIT is mandatory.
  • Good analytical skills and adaptability,.
  • Experience on mobile development is a plus.
  • Personal skills: ability to work in an international and multicultural environment; ability to work independently; a team player; respect of corporate values; high commitment.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.

 

Relocation:

Toulouse, France, offers a key location in the European space market, making it an ideal base for travel and business within the EU. Major cities are well-connected by road, rail, and air.
