We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager, to reinforce the team in our Brussels office!
We are hiring a Senior Project Manager for our prestigious partner EEAS in Brussels. The European External Action Service (EEAS) is the EU's diplomatic service. It aims to make EU foreign policy more coherent and effective, thus increasing Europe's global influence.

Main Responsibilities
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing large-scale project deployments, including secure network environments.
- Applying Project Management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent) to all projects.
- Implementing and overseeing Quality Management methodologies across different project levels.
- Conducting Risk Evaluation methodologies and manage risks effectively across various project stages.
- Utilizing Project Management tools like MS Project for different levels of project tracking and reporting.
- Designing and implementing secure infrastructure projects for defense, government, or financial organizations.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors and stakeholders.
Successful Candidate
Education and Certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
Experience
- 10 years of experience in Project Management, with 5 years in large project deployments including secure network environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in following:
- Project Management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Quality Management methodologies across different project levels.
- Risk Evaluation methodologies across different project levels.
- Project Management tools (MS Project or equivalent) at different levels.
- High-level design, low-level design, and implementation of secure network projects.
- Technical Environment, Tools, and Products:
- Experience with the implementation of secure infrastructures or projects for defense, government, or financial organizations.
- Linguistic Skills:
- Written and oral English (C1).
- Written and oral French (B2).
- Additional Profile Relevant Elements:
- Will obtain Certified in Security Classified Information Mandatory Briefing (CLIMB) within 12 months.
- Will obtain Certified in Serco Essential Security training within 12 months and complete the annual refresh.
EU Secret Clearance mandatory.
