Job Introduction
Serco is a partner of choice to the European Institutions and other International Organisations. For the past 30 years, we have been providing European and International Organisations a wide range of services including ICT services in support, infrastructure, operations and development as well as managing different contact centres for the key European Institutions, agencies and organisations across Europe.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior DevOps Specialist to join our team in Strasbourg Office.
Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Develop tools and infrastructures in order to support Build & Deployment activities;
- Manage, support and improve Build and Deployment pipelines;
- Effectively implement a DevOps strategy and associated processes.
Successful Candidate
Education
- Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master degree or equivalent) after the secondary school.
Minimum experience
- Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in a DevOps role, involved in maintaining DevOps tools & platform.
Additional needed qualification, knowledge and skills
- Thorough understanding of the SDLC, and knowledge of Agile methodologies;
- Knowledge of automation tools used to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery;
- Working knowledge of known DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonarqube, Openshift;
- Knowledge of scripting languages (like Groovy);
- Knowledge on mobile device technologies (React Native, xCode) and Operating systems (Android, iOS) would be advantageous.
- Technical writing skills would be an advantage
