Job Introduction

We are hiring a Senior AV&C Installation Technician for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- First level technical support of audio‐visual equipment for meeting and conference rooms in the European Commission.
- Operation of AV&C equipment and use of audio and video technologies.
- Organisation, implementation and maintenance of AV and IT support.
- Assistance in meetings with simultaneous interpreting delivery platforms (SIDP).
- Participation in tests and trainings in the use of meeting rooms and virtual platforms.
- Incident resolution and recording in ticketing tool.
- Guidance regarding the use of AV and IT systems for end users.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of audio‐visual and IT material, and of multimedia technologies.
- Experience with microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, recording equipment, sound and mixing boards.
- Experience in end user assistance or support of information systems.
- Ability to apply high quality standards.
- Advanced level of English and/or French, both written and spoken.
- Customer oriented service and good team spirit.
