We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior ADA Developer to join our team in Netherlands Office. 

Main Responsibilities

Technical/professional qualification

Mandatory: 

  • Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience as Ada developer
  • Minimum 5 years of recent professional experience as software developer working on maintenance and evolution of mission critical systems with large code base (> 100 KLoC).
  • Minimum 5 years of recent professional experience in Linux environment
  • Minimum 3 years of recent professional experience with Scrum methodology and tools like Jira and BitBucket

Desirable

  • Minimum 2 years of Experience in Air Traffic Management domain.
  • Minimum 3 years of Experience in writing high-quality technical documentation (specifications, design document, test descriptions, user manual, etc
Other requirements (personal characteristics)

Mandatory

  • Example of experiences demonstrating the following skills: good team worker, positive and open minded, committed to getting a job done.
  • Demonstration of experience working in a multi-cultural team and eagerness to learn new concepts, business domains, technologies, etc.

Successful Candidate

Background

Senior Ada Developer – Flight Data Processing (FDP) full-time expert to assist EUROCONTROL internal staff in the FDP team at the Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre (MUAC). The senior expert will be working in the context of the ARGOS project and will be embedded into the FDP team. The senior expert – Senior Ada Developer shall assess technical change requests, perform the analysis and implement the changes in close collaboration with the end-user. 


Company Requirement

MUAC is seeking a company with a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in delivering time-based support within critical, high-availability technical environments. The company must be able to clearly articulate this experience, highlighting the benefits delivered and challenges resolved or managed in comparable contexts. The Tenderer must demonstrate the capacity and reliability to deliver the requested time-based support by providing relevant references in the domain of critical, high-availability technical environments. Supporting documentation shall include:

•    Minimum 1 Project reference Staffing Requirements

The Tenderer shall demonstrate that it has, and will maintain throughout the e contract duration, at least 1 expert, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience as an ADA developer.


Educational requirements

Mandatory:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering in a related field if the proposed Candidate holds a master’s degree in the same field will be scored additional points in the evaluation.

Language Requirements:

Mandatory

  • Ability to work and communicate in English Technical/professional qualification (Listening/Writing/Understanding) level - C1/B2/B2.
