Job Introduction

We are hiring a Security for a European Agency in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities
KEY RESPONBILITIES
- Design security architectures for secure communications, mission-critical applications, and classified networks.
- Define technical security controls aligned with standards such as EU accreditation processes, and defence regulations.
- Conduct architecture-level threat modelling and risk analysis for proposed and existing systems.
- Support the development of Security Accreditation Packages, System Security Plans, security test plans and security policies.
- Ensure defense-in-depth, zero trust, and secure-by-design principles across projects.
- Liaise with accreditation authorities, cybersecurity auditors and stakeholders.
- Monitor security assurance levels during development and throughout the system lifecycle.
- Liaise with solution architects, NOC and SOC teams for meeting the necessary requirements.
Successful Candidate
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 8 years in cybersecurity and secure system architecture in a government, defence context or a private high-critical context
- Deep knowledge of security architectures for tactical systems, classified data handling, and perimeter defence.
- Experience in risk management frameworks (e.g. MAGERIT).
- Expertise in cryptographic systems, PKI, identity management, and secure integration across domains (Interoperability and federation).
- Familiarity with secure development lifecycle and secure DevOps.*
- Familiarity in container-based and virtualization architecture.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of French or other official languages is an asset.
- Able to collaborate between different projects and requirements in an agile way.
- Have the mindset to pickup new requirements and leam new technologies for the purposes of providing the needed solution.
DESIRED CERTICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- CISSP
- TOGAF, ArchiMate
- Experience working in classified environments
- Security Clearance (EU Secret) is required for this role
