Job Introduction

In Europe, we work closely with our customers to deliver custom-made and specialized services across International Organizations, Space, Immigration, and Defence. We provide tailored services for various public sector bodies including European Institutions, the Belgian and German Defence, the European Space Agency, and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). Our expertise spans IT services, Facility Management, Space Research, and Operations.

We’re looking for a Research Intern for European Defence Sector, to reinforce our team!

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on the European defence sector, focusing on trends, challenges, and opportunities over the next five years.
  • Analyse policy developments, technological advancements, market shifts, and geopolitical factors impacting the industry.
  • Gather and interpret data from a variety of sources, including government reports, industry publications, and expert interviews.
  • Produce well-structured research reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to ensure a comprehensive approach to the research project.
  • Stay up to date with defence-related policies, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes within the EU.


Successful Candidate

  • Experienced as a Researcher or Currently pursuing/has completed a PhD in Defence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with European defence policies, security frameworks, and industry developments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and manage research timelines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to present findings in a clear, structured manner.
  • Previous experience in policy research, think tanks, or defence-related projects is an advantage.
