Quality Assurance Manager (9009, L4)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

  • Development and enhancement of architecture
  • Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures
  • Provision of quality plans and service level agreements
  • Provision of quality studies, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information system projects
  • Definition, elaboration, management and participation of quality tests Assistance in the implementation of project management methodology
  • Support the Project Managers of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality
  • Support the Analysis team by validating business requirements documents
  • Production of use and test case models based on user requirements
  • Participation in risk analysis
  • Leading workshops and participate in workshops and meetings

Successful Candidate

  •  Analytical minded.
  • Good knowledge of IS quality assurance, procedures and methods
  • Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle.
  • In depth knowledge of test process, testing methodologies and tools. ISTQB Test management certification.
  • Good experience with quality procedures
  • Knowledge of development methodologies (e.g. RUP- RUP Agile or Agile Scrum).
  • Knowledge of JIRA, wiki, collaborative sites and social networks
  • Knowledge of UML, BPMN
  • Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies
  • Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
  • Very good knowledge of English and French and having good redaction skills
  • Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (business analysts, developers, management etc.).
  • Experience in creating test reports
