Quality Assurance Manager (3464, L2)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager, based in Brussels.

Role Responsibility

Nature of tasks

  • Elaboration and maintenance of quality control procedures for the Application Support team
  • IS testing Quality control and evaluation
  • Definition, elaboration and management of quality tests
  • Advice on quality improvements
  • Risk analysis
  • Trainings on complex Information Systems
  • Contribution to the writing of Information Systems procedures and manuals

Successful Candidate

Knowledge and skills

  • Good knowledge of IS quality assurance and quality control practices
  • Good experience with quality procedures
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
  • Good knowledge of automated tests for Web applications
  • Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile)
  • Experiene in JIRA issue tracking
  • Ability to work with and contribute to testing plans
  • Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (testers, developers, management etc.)
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator 

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of IT professional experience
  • Minimum 7 years of IS quality assurance experience
  • Minimum 7 years of testing of IT applications experience
  • Minimum 2 years of automated testing of IT applications experience with Selenium and SOAP UI

Additional requirements

Available within a three months' time frame. Eligible for EU security clearance

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to analyse complex documents
  • Ability to follow and interpret Internal procedures and standards
  • Ability to work with imposed deadlines
  • Ability to work independently on specific tasks while at the same time functioning as a member of a project team.
  • Fluent in English and/or French
  • Able to understand documents written in both English and French
