Quality Assurance Manager (14401, L4)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  •  Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures

  •  Working closely with Development, Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure  Project acceptance 

  •  Prepare and communication progress reports and statistics to the Quality and Rollout Manager 

  •  Capability to understand the big scaled systems and complex architectures  Create and update project documentation adjusting to the scope of the business domains  approving deliverable products 

  •  Request and coordinate system, Integration and UI testing based on the business scenario on  multiple web based modules of the solution in order to prepare the SAT 

  •  Troubleshoot and triage issues with multiple teams to drive towards root cause identification  and resolution 

  •  Coordinate meetings and manage the communications with several project stakeholders  Document, Track and Escalate issues found during the UAT 

  •  Working with multiple peers both on the IT implementation and Business sides

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  •  Good knowledge of IS quality assurance and quality control practices 

  •  Good experience with quality procedures 

  •  Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools 

  •  Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle 

  •  Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (testers, developers, management, etc.) 

  •  Ability to apply high quality standards Experience in preparing and driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

  •  Manage and follow up the progress of the implementation of new functionalities in IT systems 

  •  Experience in working on large projects and coping with tight deadlines  Knowledge to design, develop and implement Test Plans, Cases & Processes  Knowledge to prepare and execute test cases/scenarios 

  •  Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment 

  •  Capability to work, draft, and chair or participate in meetings in English  High degree of proactivity and ability to prioritize own work effectively  Knowledge of existing systems used in the Procurement and/or Grants solutions is an asset  Good knowledge of the CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) will be considered an asset
