We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager, based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  •  Ensure quality assurance of the data in-feed from ‘list of operations’; 

  •  Ensure quality assurance of the logical and physical structure of the platform and of navigation methods; 

  •  Perform continuous testing of the Kohesio platform and make proposals for improvements and additional features; 

  •  Perform and/or manage performance and accessibility testing; 

  •  Support internal web team by providing advice on quality improvements for publically accessible web pages; 

  •  Monitor the platform for server-side errors, broken links, etc. and maintain a risk log assessment; 

  •  Ensure any update change integrate with analytics and SEO; 

  •  Define and manage a quality assessment strategy to ensure the timely delivery of deliveries (quality control checklist); 

  •  Define links and interoperability with the InfoRegio database and explore possibilities for full integration, including of the Open Data Platform; 

  •  Assess the deliveries using specific performance indicators, planning and reporting tools as well as client satisfaction surveys (through EU Survey); 

  •  Demonstrate new product functionality to internal stakeholders; 

  •  Ensure liaison with designated contacts in the DG, partner organizations and external providers. 

  • Additionally, ensure also the following: 

  •  Participation to meetings with business owners and users; 

  •  Participate in defining and documenting operational procedures. 

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  •  Good knowledge of IS quality assurance and quality control practices; 

  •  Good experience with quality procedures; 

  •  Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools; 

  •  Knowledge of relevant webtools, including HTML, CSS, Google webmaster tools and Google analytics; 

  •  Strong capacity in preparing and writing studies; 

  •  Excellent problem-solving and project management/planning skills; 

  •  Able to set objectives and meet deadlines; 

  •  Strong capacity to give high level presentations; 

  •  Ability to apply high quality standards; 

  •  Good Knowledge of design and graphical tools; 

  •  Excellent inter-personal communication skills, client-orientation and team spirit; 

  •  Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment; 

  •  Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (English and French) 

  •  Knowledge of the Regional and Urban policy and of European Structural and Investment funds is considered an asset.
