We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager based in Brussels.

 

Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  • Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures 

  • Provision of quality plans and service level agreements, 

  • IS Quality control and evaluation 

  • Analyse existing software tools in the Traineeships Office and participate in the design, development, testing and delivery of various software modules of the new Stage ecosystem. 

  • Support the efforts towards digitalization incl. integrating GestMax and adopting new business processes for trainees’ selection, TFM and Compass for traineeship management. 

  • Liaise between the IT department and internal business / external users. 

  • Support the business flows in Traineeships Office (incl. trainees’ files management, payments, financial data validation, events, certificates, etc.). 

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and train other users on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems. 

  • Provide technical assistance for questions and problems; talk users through a series of actions to resolve a problem. 

  • Define functional tests and analyse their results to inform business decisions. 

  • Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing Stage software and business decisions. 

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management or related field and/or relevant experience in the field. 

  • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self- starting capability and experience in working in team 

  • Proven knowledge of testing technologies and tools 

  • Very good knowledge in project monitoring and evaluation incl. analysing logs, tracing root causes, debugging and understanding exceptions. 

  • Good knowledge of IS quality assurance and quality control practices 

  • Good experience with quality procedures 

  • Capability to persevere in retesting solutions 

  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments 

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Word and Excel) and Jira. 

  • Prior experience in tech support, desktop support or a similar role is a plus. 

  • Knowledge and professional experience in project management. 

  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment. 

  • Resilience, team spirit and an analytical mindset are necessary.
