QHSE Manager

We are hiring a QHSE manager for our partner European Homecare. The location is Frankfurt, Freiburg, Essen.

Role Responsibility

As QHSE Manager you will concentrate your activities on the following:

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Prepare, review, revise, implement and monitor company policies and procedures based on ISO standards and risk assessment.
  • Carry out internal audits and site visits to verify, control and report on the compliance and effectiveness of QHSE management systems against scope and requirements and legal requirements.
  • Participate in QHSE certification and maintenance activities
  • Identify training needs and prepare training for staff
  • Responsible for the correct application of relevant QHSE legislation
  • Promoting safety behaviour and safety culture
  • Manage internal QHSE software and platforms
  • Review QHSE KPIs and plan improvements or corrective actions as required.

Successful Candidate

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications: 

  • Good Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard is required (internal auditor certification as a plus)
  • Good Knowledge of H&S Systems, including relevant German legislation (ISO 45001)
  • Training/ education as an occupational safety specialist as a plus
  • Have excellent verbal and written German with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the Company
  • Have good verbal and written English
  • Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to management systems
  • Ability to work independently, manage time and schedules in face of competing priorities
  • Possess strong planning, organisational, teamwork and presentation skills
  • Be computer literate with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel
