Role Responsibility
DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE, ROLE AND TASKS
The Project Manager aims to support the Quality and Rollout, Program and the Product Managers.
Particularly in the context of the eProcurement Corporate strategy development. It covers:
1. Responsible for managing the DIGIT B1 Release calendar and dependencies
2. Collaborate with the Rollout implementation phase of the corporate solution
3. Responsible for maintaining effective relationship with all stakeholders
The candidate must have strong knowledge of project management methodologies (such as
PRINCE 2) and experience in the preparation of releasing software, UATs coordination,
coordination between business and IT stakeholders during the UAT and following up the release communications (including Release Notes, Communication to the stakeholders and partners).
Additionally, technical understanding is a very strong qualification to understand and organize the release management activities.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The expert will be the Release Manager for the preparation, coordination, monitoring and follow up of the Release Packages in the scope of the corporate solution. Together with the support of the project and product managers and testing team, the candidate will be the bridge between the business domains and IT solution implementation.
In particular, the expert will assist on the following:
Release Manager
Regulating Release deployments based on New features or Production fixes for each
applications and their dependencies with other versions or data
Keeping track of Environment Stability for communicating to different stakeholders
Capability to understand the big scaled systems and complex architectures
Create and update project documentation adjusting to the scope of the business domains
approving deliverable products
Request and coordinate system, Integration and UI testing based on the business scenario on multiple web based modules of the solution in order to prepare the SAT
Troubleshoot and triage issues with multiple teams to drive towards root cause identification
and resolution
Coordinate meetings and manage the communications with several project stakeholders
Continues follow up and coordination of the release status
Working with multiple peers both on the IT implementation and Business sides
Successful Candidate
SKILLS
Knowledge of existing systems used in the Procurement and/or Grants solutions is
mandatory
Ability to apply project management methodologies according to the project needs (Prince
2)
Experience in preparing and driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / Site Acceptance
Testing (SAT)
Excellent Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence)
Manage and follow up the progress of the implementation of new functionalities in IT
systems
Experience in working on large projects and coping with tight deadlines
Knowledge to design, develop and implement Test Plans, Cases & Processes
Knowledge to preparing and execute test cases/scenarios
Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
Capability to work, draft, and chair or participate to meetings in English
High degree of proactivity and ability to priorities own work effectively
Education and Experience
Minimum 11 years of working experience in IT projects as team coordinator or release quality control
