Project Officer (EMA/2016/37/IM)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer, based in Amsterdam.

Role Responsibility

Domain Expertise: Detailed project scheduling, monitoring and reporting, non-financial project administration, management of document repository, change management, agile methods.

Successful Candidate

Role specific experience

  • Expert with Microsoft Project as a tool for planning and tracking of project work;
  • Familiar with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence as a delivery platform;
  • Familiar with the role of configuration and document management in the context of a software Development project;
  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of detailed project schedules in MS Project, including resource planning, under the guidance of EMA’s project management
  • Responsible for the drafting of periodic status reporting (excluding financials) for EMA’s project management and internal EMA governance bodies.
  • Responsible for the controlled maintenance of the project repository of documents and other deliverables.
  • Strong communications skills: written, pictorial, presentational
  • Proactive and strong team player
  • Familiar with content management systems
  • Experience in supporting project planning, monitoring and management reporting for a software development project.
  • Experience in supporting change management process
  • Experience in controlling and managing a project repository of documents and other deliverables and their versions for a software development project.
  • Experience/Familiar with Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies and supporting project with fast delivery life cycle.
  • Experience is preparing and supporting project board/steering committee  level communication for project governance
  • Familiarity with project risk and issue management processes
  • IT PMO experience
