We are hiring a Project Manager with expertise in Information & Communication Management, and in design of online and offline communication activities, products and content for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The person who will fill the position will be primarily involved in developing the communication aspects for the CIC, and to this end will liaise with the wide variety of services involved, in developing the web platforms, training programmes and guidance for stakeholders. The main related tasks to this position are the following:
Contribution to the CIC Communication strategy (internal and external); to its action plan and to specific communication actions.
Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) communication activities at CIC level.
CIC intranet design, implementation and maintenance.
CIC units' wiki design, implementation and maintenance.
Set-up and monitoring of editorial processes for the drafting of content related to IT and business developments.
Editorial work on content related to IT and business developments.
Organisation of internal events to promote corporate identity with a focus on IT and business developments.
Set-up, coordination and implementation of the CIC internal communication tools: newsletter, audio-visual material, newcomers' induction courses, management and staff corporate activities, knowledge management.
Coordination of a network of communication correspondents at CIC unit level
Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports.
Project management reporting: regular reporting and ad hoc notes on communication developments and activities, identification and monitoring of key performance indicators related to the communication activities in the Communication plan of the CIC.
Close cooperation with the wide variety of services involved in developing communication activities related to eGrant management, training & documentation.
Participation in working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the stakeholders.
Depending on the circumstances, the PM may be requested to provide assistance or support in the resolution of production issues.
Contribute to the communication strategy for the (internal and external) communication on the FTOP and PP, and to specific communication actions.
In depth knowledge of application design, more particularly in the context of websites and web applications.
Capacity to coordinate the design and development of website projects.
Advanced use of Content Management Systems: Confluence, Sharepoint.
Capacity in writing and presenting studies, to give presentations about the project.
Project management experience in ICT projects related to the maintenance of collaboration platforms, editorial work, organisation of ICT workshops: project monitoring, KPIs and reporting.
Experience in the set-up and coordination of ICT editorial teams working on IT and business content, set-up and monitoring of editorial processes.
Experience in the set-up and coordination of ICT communication teams for the set-up and of organisation of high level events, workshops of EU Experts.
Ability in the set-up, coordination, implementation of communication activities for the dissemination of IT and business developments.
Coordination of network of ICT experts.
Good understanding of business requirements vs. IT developments for the drafting of dissemination content.
Good experience with dissemination of information related to e-domains.
Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
Good experience with quality procedures and the ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks.
Practical knowledge of reporting methods.
Ability to conceptualise problems, identify and implement solutions.
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills, good command of the English language is mandatory.
Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in a team, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
Good expertise in Information & Communication Management, and in design of online and offline communication activities, products and content.
