Job Introduction

We are looking for a new Project Manager in Brussels. 

You will integrate a Team who is working to  initiate, define, implement and follow-up the regulation of the financial sector. This great team is also in charge of the development and maintenance of some IT systems.

Role Responsibility

• Management of the development team using Agile scrum methodologies
• Guidance on the architectural technical choices, specifically on Java, Angular (version 2 and above), RDBMS, Shell Scripting, and JavaScript 
• Requirements gathering using use cases, and user stories
• Code quality review
• Prepare, lead, and execute integration, system and users acceptance testing

Successful Candidate

You need a mandatory, specific and documented expertise on Agile scrum methodologies, as well as on the management of projects where the system is multi-tenant and built using Java, Angular, RDBMS, Shell Scripting, and JavaScript technologies. You should be able to motivate, tightly collaborate and obtain the maximal possible results from the project team and from all the stakeholders. You must be diplomatic and able to adapt to the different team and stakeholders personalities and working contexts, you must also be able to strongly lead, to quickly learn and understand new technologies, business and complex processes, to easily discuss, understand and synthetize the user needs and functional requirements directly with all the stakeholders.

Required skills/knowledge

• Thorough knowledge and practice of Agile scrum methodologies, as well as team management for the built of information systems based on Java, Angular (version 2 and above), RDBMS, Shell Scripting, and JavaScript technologies.
• Deep knowledge of REST services architecture development, JavaScript, Linux shell scripting, and Agile methodologies
• Deep knowledge and experience with PM2 (preferred), or PMI/PMBok, or Prince2.
• Deep knowledge and practice of PDCA methods
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings in English and French, ease of communication; excellent in English and French (both verbal and written); additional EU languages will be assets.
• Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and of integration in an international/multicultural environment.

Optional skills/knowledge

• JIRA, SMT, Confluence, Ma3tch, GIT, eUI, HTML5, CSS, Sonar, Selenium, XML, Ubuntu, RedHat.
