We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager, based in Brussels.


Role Responsibility

The key person will be responsible for:

  • Definition and analysis of the business requirements, including functional requirements  and business case analysis. 

  • Business model and process analysis and modelling. 

  • Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs,  acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost,  timescales and quality. 

  • Coordination of the implementation of the business requirements. 

  • Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables. Risk analysis. 

  • Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each  project to agreed terms of reference. 

  • Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan. Assistance to the definition of internal methodologies and application lifecycle. Elaboration of Visio documents. 

  • Participation in functional working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users. Provide leadership to the project team. 

  • Depending on the circumstances, provide support in the resolution of production issues.

Successful Candidate

The key person should have:

  • Large experience in project management. 

  • Experienced in business analysis. 

  • In depth knowledge of large organization admin business processes, of business  analysis and modelling tools, of Service Oriented architecture, of object oriented  programming language and of software development methodologies. 

  • Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies. Usage of project management tools. 

  • Ability to apply high quality standards. 

  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and  design. 

  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills, including  preparing reports and deliver presentations. 

  • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self starting capability and experience in team working.
