Role Responsibility

For our activities in EUMETSAT we are currently looking for a Multi Mission Data Processing Analyst.

In this role your main tasks will be:

• Daily reporting and analysis of routine operations;
• Coordinating daily operational activities;
• Part of the on call duty rota for the DPO team;
• Writing, updating procedures and working practices;
• Compiling inputs for the monthly imaging report;
• Conduct investigations on IMPF anomalies;
• Provide IMPF training to new personnel;
• Analysing facility anomalous behaviour;
• Attend weekly ARB’s.

Successful Candidate

The successful applicant will have a sound background in a scientific or technical discipline. He/she must be familiar with ground segment facilities relating to spacecraft operations. Previous experience working in operations or data processing is an advantage.

Additionally, the key person should bring good PC skills, with a knowledge of the following:

• MS Word and Excel;
• Linux.

The key person must have good interpersonal skills.
