Mission Analysis and Software Engineer

We are proactively looking for a Mission Analysis and Software Engineer, based in ESTEC, Noordwijk (Netherlands).

Role Responsibility

The below range of support tasks are required:

• General support in the mission software development, acceptance and validation, comprising of the following sub activities; 

• Administration in anomalies/SPR system for CFI at ESTEC; 

• Investigation of anomalies; 

• Participation in Anomaly Review Boards; 

• Review of Contractors Test Procedures; 

• Definition and execution of independent Validation Tests at ESTEC; 

• Configuration Management for CFI at ESTEC; 

• Software Packaging for delivery to external entities; 

• Participation to Acceptance; 

• General support in the mission software development, acceptance and validation, comprising of the following sub activities;

• Investigation of anomalies; 

• Participation in Anomaly Review Boards;

• Software Packaging for delivery of external entities; 

• Participation to Acceptance of delivered Software;

• Support to Mission Analysis; 

• Support definition of mission analysis required by Projects;

• Design, code, test and run small Software tools for these activities; 

• Document these activities to Projects. 

 

Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate must bring:

• Experience relevant to the task description. 

• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule. 

• Proficient in the English language (spoken and written).
