Formerly known as GSA, EUSPA is a future agency of the European Union, based on the existing European GNSS Agency with enlarged responsibilities. EUSPA will be in charge of ensuring the provision of Galileo, EGNOS services, the market uptake for the EU satellite navigation services and the Earth observation system (Copernicus) as well as the operational security aspects security and security accreditation of the different components of the EU Space Programme, including GOVSATCOM and SSA.

Role Responsibility

• Market Development Support to core tasks: Analyse the market, the users’ technology, needs, requirements and satisfaction related to European GNSS (Galileo and EGNOS), Copernicus, GOVSATCOM and SSA and in the following market segments: Aviation, Road, Rail, Maritime & Ocean Monitoring, Location Based Services, Critical Infrastructures, Agriculture& Forestry, Urban Planning & Geomatics and Governmental& Security, Energy, Environment & Air Quality, Natural Disasters & Emergency Response, Insurance & Finance, Space Users.
• Support to User Uptake and Coordination in Copernicus and GovSatCom, including the elaboration and implementation of EGNSS adoption roadmap in targeted market segments
• Support to Development of Downstream applications (e.g. development of tools to support the implementation and evaluate the impact of the different EU funding programmes; Identification of synergies among space systems/technologies, e.g. EGNSS and Copernicus, an with non-space based programmes (e.g. AI, 5G, Big data, advanced manufacturing, HPC, robotics, EEE components)
• Support to Development of innovative and competitive EU space sector (e.g. Identify, assess and implement activities aiming at facilitating the fast development of products and solutions in the area of mass market, addressing specifically start-ups and SMEs)
• Market Development Support to GOVSATCOM, including technical and market analysis of governmental applications, assessing the potential of the Galileo PRS service, as well as alternative services, for governmental applications and users

Successful Candidate

• Degree in Space Engineering or completed scientific or technical university degree or in Business-related field
• Interest in space mission
• Experience in Business or Market Development
• Very good knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office
• Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Possess excellent communication skills
• The ability to work in English and in an international environment / team
• Willingness to work in Prague, Czech Republic
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and during weekends
• Very good customer liaison capability
• Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution
• Teamwork / team-player spirit
• Take full responsibility for the successful conclusion of the activities
• Have a dynamic outlook and be success oriented
• Interest in tools/software development and programming
• Experience to work in similar environments
• In possession of security clearance at EU Secret level (only for tasks related to GOVSATCOM)
• Experience in an international environment;
