MS SharePoint Application Developer (3434, L5)

For one of our Customer, a European Institution we are looking for an Application Developer with at least 10 years of relevant work experience. 

Role Responsibility

Nature of the tasks

  • Development, deployment, integration (with other applications) and maintenance of software applications (including components) following the standards and methodologies established by the Contracting Authority and in line with the established user requirements;
  • Prototyping;
  • Elaboration and execution of test programs;
  • Creation of technical documentation following the standards and methodologies established by the Contracting Authority;
  • Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
  • Participation in meetings with the project teams.

Successful Candidate

Knowledge and skills

  • Good knowledge of web application development environments;
  • Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications;
  • Knowledge about responsive, multi-device development (e.g. desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone);
  • Good knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML);
  • Good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, AGILE);
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016 Platform services and tools (Sites, Communities, Content, Search, Insights, Composites - workflows, collaboration, Wikis - SharePoint Designer, etc.);
  • Very good knowledge of .NET Framework (VB.NET and/or C#), Visual Studio and relevant frameworks;
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft IIS;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Management System.
  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments;
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication;
  • Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment.
  • Very good knowledge of English (both written and oral);

Education and experience

  • Minimum 10 years of IT professional experience
